they/she
Kris uses their training as a social worker, experience as a justice-oriented trainer, and sensibilities as a visual artist in facilitating group work. These underpin Kris's understanding of individual trauma, group dynamics, and exploration of identity and community.
Kris brings fourteen years of facilitation experience along with a background in youth work and social justice in New York City and Philadelphia. Kris also co-facilitates Weavers of Equity, a Dragonfly initiative to facilitate spaces of healing, mutual support, and learning that unleash, nourish, incubate and amplify the visionary leadership of Black and Brown women, trans and gender-expansive leaders working in white dominant or multi-racial social change-making contexts.
In addition to their consulting work with Dragonfly Partners, Kris is also a Trainer and a certified Trauma-Competent Professional through Lakeside Global Institute, where they facilitate workshops about individual and collective trauma and healing throughout Pennsylvania.
Prior to obtaining a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice, Kris received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Japanese Studies from Binghamton University (SUNY).
Kris lives in Philadelphia and enjoys listening to music and podcasts and questing to find the most delicious donuts in the city.
